HowFar is now on Google Play

HowFar for Android is available on Google Play. This first release covers the five parts of student life we hear about most: chat, groups, campus life, market and class.

What shipped: direct and group messaging with media and voice notes, message requests, group discovery, campus announcements, a campus scoped marketplace with listings and in app messaging, and a class space for timetables and materials.

What is next: iOS, richer institutional accounts, better search across listings and groups, and more admin controls for people who run large groups.

What we want from you: tell us what breaks and what is missing. Write to team@howfar.space with your phone model and what you were doing. Bug reports from students shape the next release more than anything else.
